I am from Nanaimo Brit...Nanaimo Bars are fabulous. I am from Nanaimo British Columbia Canada. Did you know the origin of the Nanaimo Bar? Nanaimo's origin is as a coal mining community. The coal miners wives used to pack these desserts to give their husbands energy during their long day in the mine. It is so nice to see our town has international recognition.
